Kevin is the Vice President of Primary Care and Quality at the American Diabetes Association or a DA and Professor Emeritus at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Prior to this position at the A DA, Dr. Peterson directed the Center of Excellence in Primary Care with additional appointments in the Institute for Health Informatics and the Institute for Engineering and Medicine, a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr. Peterson has published hundreds of scientific articles and publications focusing on diabetes care, clinical trials, and medical engineering.
